Catonsville, MD- The Montgomery College Raptors stunned the Cardinals in another rainy match at the nest.
On Tuesday, the Cardinals hosted the Montgomery College Raptors in what would turn out to be another rainy game day. The Raptors, a Division I program, have been dominating the other school in the NJCAA Region 20. They struck early two minutes into the game with their first goal, and constant pressure on the Cardinals defense allowed for five more to hit the back of the net. Goalkeeper Atendum Fuamazah managed to make 17 saves, but with 23 total shots on goal, was unable to stop all of them. The Raptors defense kept the Cardinals on their toes, and only allowed for a single shot on goal by Kham Sing for the entirety of the contest.
The Cardinals will host yet another tough opponent Thursday facing the Howard Community College Dragons. Game time is set for 5pm.
