Catonsville, MD - The CCBC Catonsville Cardinals played to a 2-2 draw against WVU Potomac State on Tuesday afternoon in Catonsville. In a match defined by momentum swings, the Cardinals surged ahead with two quick strikes late in the first half before the Catamounts answered back with a determined second-half rally.
After a scoreless opening 40 minutes, Catonsville broke through in the 44th minute when Michael Muchai finished a pass from David Nwachukwu to give the Cardinals the lead. Just over a minute later, Khan Sing doubled the advantage with an unassisted goal at the 45:45 mark, sending the Cardinals into halftime up 2-0 despite being outshot 12-2 in the half.
