Harford Defeats CCBC Catonsville in Conference Match

Bel Air, Md. – September 30, 2025 – The CCBC Catonsville women's soccer team dropped a 6-0 decision to Harford Community College on Tuesday evening in conference play. Despite a strong goalkeeping performance, the Cardinals were unable to slow down the Fighting Owls' attack.

Goalkeeper Soleli Umbarger stood tall in net for Catonsville, making 17 saves while facing relentless pressure from Harford's offense. The Cardinals were held without a shot on goal, while Harford recorded 23 shots on target and controlled possession throughout the match.

Harford struck early and often, tallying three goals in each half. Lila Vincenti opened the scoring in the 12th minute, assisted by Nadia Krivosh, and later added two more unassisted goals to complete a hat trick by the 35th minute. Alex Hall scored in the 58th minute and again in the 63rd to extend the lead, while Vincenti capped the evening with her fourth goal in the 68th minute.

The Cardinals (2-5-1, 1-3-0 MD JUCO) continue to battle through their schedule with determination, but the Owls (6-6-2, 6-0-2 MD JUCO) proved too strong in this matchup. Catonsville will look to regroup and return to the win column as they prepare for their next conference contest.
