Lady Cardinals fall against Carroll losing 6-0.
Catonsville, MD- The Cardinals had a hard time finding their rhythm in a 6-0 loss against Carroll Community College on August 28, 2025. It was back and forth for a while until Natalie Sczepucha scored the first goal. Carroll kept the lead in the first half with Alyssa Ruff scoring, assisted by Lana O'Donnell, and Natalie Sczepucha netting her second goal before halftime. Carroll then extended their lead in the second half with Michaela West scoring 3 goals in a row, eventually winning the game.
CCBC's goalie, Soleil Umbarger, had a standout performance, making 12 saves throughout the game, but the persistence of the Carroll Lynx was too much to overcome. The Lady Cardinals will return to the nest to go against the Hawks of CMS on September 9, 2025.
