Morrison Gets Triple-Double in Win Over Anne Arundel

Catonsville, MD- In a fashionable win over Anne Arundel Community College the Cardinals had 5 players with double digit points; Anaiya Morrison (19 points), Tarshay Bell (10 points), Sydney Oliver (11 points), Ijae Dower (11 points), and Khloe Wallace leading the way with an explosive 27 point game making 5 out of her 7 three point attempts. Cardinals had a dominant lead in the entire game winning 82-44 at home.  

It was a great defensive performance totaling 23 steals, 5 blocks, and 26 defensive rebounds. Holding AACC to 44 points with a shooting percentage of 33.9% from the field goal and 10% from behind the arc. After the first half and only giving up 21 points but scoring 43, you knew the Cardinals were running away with this one. 

Khloe Wallace led the team to a 42.9% 3-point percentage, and the team had a shooting percentage of 43.6%. Anaiya Morrison had a standout performance having a triple double with 19 points, 13 assists, and 11 rebounds. 

This win should give the Cardinals a huge momentum boost going into the late parts of the season and getting into crucial games going into playoffs. Their next game against Community College of Beaver County is going to be a tough one, but if they keep their nose on the grindstone, it should be a good one.
