La Plata MD, February 13, 2026- The CCBC Lady Cardinals got their second straight win with a victory Friday night over the College of Southern Maryland.
CCBC got off to a hot start on the road, winning the first half by 12 with a 6-player rotation. The Lady Cardinals had three players in double digit scoring as well as double digit rebounding. Anaiya Morrison led the contest in scoring with 21 points to go with 10 rebounds and 8 assists for a double-double. Tarshay Bell would also have a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds, while Sydney Oliver led the entire contest with 14 rebounds. Amoni Taylor would lead the Hawks in this one with 15 points and 8 rebounds, however it wasn't enough to cut into the Cardinal lead as CCBC would get the win 63-54.
CCBC moves to .500 and 7-6 in region play, while CSM drops to 9-12 and 6-8 in region play, and CCBC will look to get another win in their next contest at home Tuesday February 17, 2026 against Anne Arundel Community College.
