Catonsville Md, Jan 30, 2026- CCBC Cardinals Women's Basketball got back in the win column this past Friday with a 79-24 win over Baltimore City Community College.
The Cardinals defense was key in this contest as they held BCCC to 15 percent shooting from the field with zero threes made. A 30 point first quarter from the Cardinals set the tone for the contest as they would continue to build on their lead throughout the contest which led to their 55 point victory. Five Cardinals were in double digit scoring, led by Ric'Kema McLean with 18 points and 4 threes made. Tarshay Bell and Makenzie Foreman would both lead the contests in steals with 8 each of their team total of 36.
This would be the second biggest victory for the Cardinals this season as they get back in the win column for the first time in 4 contests. The lady Cardinals will be back in action on the road Wednesday Feb 4th against CCBC rival the CCBC Essex Knights at 6PM.
