McHenry MD-Jan 21, 2026- The CCBC Catonsville women's basketball team dropped a close conference matchup to Garrett 69-67 on the last game of their four-game road trip.

This is the third straight loss for the lady Cardinals as they now drop below .500 to 8-9 and 4-4 in conference play. Keashiana Murphy led the Cardinals in this one with a 30 point performance as Tarshay Bell and Anaiya Morrison had 11 points each. However Garrett's Hailey Newsome was the star of the game with a double double(19 points and 11 rebounds), while adding seven assists and leading the Lakers to a two point home win.

The Lady Cardinals will look to get back on track as they host WVU Potomac Wednesday Jan 28.
