La Plata MD -- CCBC Catonsville split a competitive doubleheader against the College of Southern Maryland on April 1, powered by a strong offensive showing in Game 1 and a hard-fought effort in Game 2.
The Cardinals opened the day with a commanding 9-4 victory, exploding for nine runs on nine hits. Emily Fagan led the charge with a perfect 4-for-4 performance and two RBI, while Alana Watts, Gianna Guglielminetti, and Aliceanna Weibley contributed key hits to keep the offense rolling.
