The Lady Cardinals powered their way to a doubleheader sweep versus Frederick Community College, taking game one 8–0 before winning a 16–15 thriller in game two. The offense stayed consistent throughout the day, combining power hitting with timely execution.

In game one, Catonsville broke things open in the third inning, highlighted by a two-run home run from Alana Watts and an RBI double from Gianna Guglielminetti. The Cardinals continued to add on with contributions from Caitlin Miles, Emily Fagan, and Aliceanna Weibley, while strong pitching from Fagan and defense secured the shutout.

Game two featured early offense from Frederick, but Catonsville responded with multiple scoring innings behind RBIs from Jordyn Cleveland, Angela Delaney, Ava Blum, and a two-RBI double from Weibley. Trailing late, the Cardinals rallied for five runs in the seventh inning, with key extra-base hits from Maggie Rowland, Renee Askin and the walk-off single from Cleveland to complete the 16–15 comeback victory.

The Cardinals will look to build on the sweep as they go up against WVU Potomac in a DH tomorrow March 24th at 3/5pm.
