Game 1

Game 1 was all about the pitching. Makayla Elligson and Emily Fagan combined for a great outing, carrying the Cardinals to the win. Elligson started the game for Catonsville and went six innings, allowing just one run while striking out five batters. Fagan came in and shut the door, striking out all three batters that she faced to get her first save of the season.

On the flip side, Gianna Dougherty was also great for Cecil College. She pitched all six innings for the Seahawks, holding Catonsville to just two runs while striking out five batters. It was a pitchers dual in Game 1, but the Cardinals found a way to come out on top.

Game 2

The pitching was fantastic once again in Game 2, led by Emily Fagan. Fagan dominated the Seahawks lineup, throwing six shutout innings for the Cardinals. She struck out seven batters while allowing just two hits and zero walks in the win.

The offense got going early for the Cardinals with four runs in the first inning. They added two more in the third, as well as one in the fifth and sixth.
