The Cardinals went kept battling by putting up 10 hits but couldn't seem to score with runners in scoring position. They were only able to put up 2 runs with 10 hits while CSM scored 10 runs on 12 hits. This game ended early due to mercy rule in the 5th inning.

The Cardinals struggled again on the offensive end only mustering up 2 hits and not being able to score a run. Although in the previous game they had a bunch of hits with no runs to show for it, this game there was a lack of both. Due to the lack of runs, the game was ended due to mercy rule since CSM scored 11 runs by the end of the 5th inning.
