Lady Cardinals Take the Win At Harford

Game 1: Harford Community College 1 (0-12), CCBC Catonsville 13 (4-12); WP – Bryanna Hoskinson (3-5), LP – Lexi Buchanan (0-3)

  • The Lady Cardinals started off the game strong in the top of the first by scoring five runs on hits from A. Heagy, M. Miller, F. Voss, M. Brooks, and B. Hoskinson.
  • At the top of the second, the Cardinals kept their lead. A. Heagy even scored again.
  • At the top of the third, the Lady Cardinals seemed unstoppable as they put 5 more runs on the board
  • At the top of the fourth, the Lady Cardinals again remained unanswered as B. Hoskinson and M. Brooks scored 2 runs which brought the total score for CCBC to 13
  • At the bottom of the fifth, Harford had finally scored. However, there was no way they had a chance to catch up to the Lady Cardinals.

Game 2: Harford Community College 7 (0-13), CCBC Catonsville 17 (5-12); WP – Felicity Voss (2-5), LP – Rilee Fazenbaker (0-5)

  • The Lady Cardinals also started the second game off strong. A. Heagy, E. McGuire, and M. Miller all scored at the top of the first. However, Harford answered by scoring in the bottom of the first.
  • At the bottom of the second, Harford scored again. However, CCBC managed to remain in the lead.
  • A. Heagy scored for CCBC at the top of the third which further solidified CCBC's lead.
  • At the bottom of the fourth, Harford responded and scored twice which tied up the game
  • At the top of the fifth, CCBC came out strong and scored 6 runs. A. Heagy, E. McGuire, B. Burke, B. Hoskinson, F. Voss, and M. Miller all scored runs. Harford responded by scoring a run of their own but that was nothing compared to the 6 scored by CCBC.
  • At the top of the sixth, A. Heagy, F. Voss, B. Hoskinson, and B. Eiser all scored for CCBC which was another four runs for CCBC. At the bottom of the sixth, Harford scored two runs of their own but CCBC was already too far in the lead.
  • At the top of the seventh, A. Heagy, M. Miller, and E. McGuire scored 3 runs for CCBC which brought CCBC's total score to 17. In this inning, CCBC remained unanswered which brings the final score to 17-7.
