The Lady Cardinals struggled to get going at bat hosting Lackawanna College

Game 1: Lackawanna 12 (2-1), Catonsville 6 (3-5). WP-Mackayla Quick (1-0), LP-Bryanna Hoskinson (4-3).

• The Lady Cardinals took the lead early in the game after putting two runs on the board in the bottom of the second. Felicity Voss scored on a wild pitch after hitting a double to left field earlier in the inning. Bryanna Hoskinson also scored on a single to left field from Britney Burke.
• Lackawanna took over the game by scoring three runs in the top of the third to make it 4-2 Lackawanna. The Lady Cardinals struggled to get points on the board in the third and fourth innings.
• In the bottom of the fifth, Makenzie Brooks scored on a single to right field from Bryanna Hoskinson.
• The Lady Cardinals continued to keep the game close in the sixth inning after two runs scored by Erin McGuire and Madison Miller on hits from Miller herself and Makenzie Brooks, making it 7-5 Lackawanna.
• Lackawanna pulled through in the seventh inning, putting five runs on the board to the Lady Cardinals one run, for a final score of 12-6 Lackawanna.

Game 2: Lackawanna 8 (3-1), Catonsville 0 (3-6). WP-Megan Fritz (1-0), LP-Felicity Voss (1-3).

• The Lady Cardinals were unable to put any runs on the board and only got four hits.
• Erin McGuire had two hits—a single to left field and a double to left field.  
• Felicity Voss had three strikeouts.
