Game 1: Delaware Tech 11 (1-0), CCBC Catonsville 3 (1-1). WP- Lauren Smith (1-0) LP- Bryanna Hoskinson (1-1)
- In the top of the first inning, Del Tech came out hot with a few walks and key hits.
- The Lady Cardinals answered back by taking a run on themselves from a single by Makenzie Brooks.
- The Lady Cardinals would not score again until the bottom of the fourth inning when Brianna Eiser hit a line drive to left field that would be dropped. Britney Burke would follow up with a single to center field to take on CCBC's last run of the game.
- Delaware Tech tacked on four more runs between the fifth and seventh innings.
Game 2: Delaware Tech 11 (2-0), CCBC Catonsville 8 (1-2). WP- Caitlin Pontak (1-0). LP- Felicity Voss (0-1).
- Despite giving up a homerun in the top of the first, The Lady Cardinals answered back quickly. Freshman Makenzie Brooks slapped a triple down the right field line to bring around Madison Miller and Erin McGuire.
- In a failed pickoff attempt, Brooks then scored giving the cardinals an early 3-1 lead.
- After Del Tech answered with two runs, Bryanna Hoskinson hit a line drive into right field that would score Abigail Heagy.
- The Lady Cardinals would then give up 8 unanswered runs between the fourth and seventh innings.
- The Lady Cardinals decided to put together a bottom of the seventh rally, tallying on four more runs. Brooks singled to center field that resulted in an error and three runs scored. Hoskinson would then go for a swinging bunt that would give them their last run of the contest.
STANDOUT STATS:
- Makenzie Brooks went 3-8 on the day with 6 RBI's.
- Erin McGuire went 2-4 in game two, with two of her outs made being line drives.
- Madison Miller made a diving catch in centerfield.
- The Lady Cardinals played clean defense with only one error during the contests.
