Coach Kingsley to Step Down as Men's Soccer Coach

Catonsville, MD Today, CCBC Catonsville Athletics announced that Men's Head Soccer Coach, Kingsley Onwuka, will be stepping down after four years with the program. 

Coach Kingsley Onwuka took over the Cardinals men's soccer program in the fall of 2022 following successful coaching stints at John Carroll and Kenwood High Schools. During his time at the helm, Coach Kingsley led the Cardinals to two postseason appearances and coached seven players who earned NJCAA All-Region 20 honors. His tenure was marked by a strong commitment to recruiting and developing local talent, as well as fostering a culture of respect and care among players, coaches, and CCBC staff. 

CCBC Catonsville Athletic Director Leslie Wray shared her appreciation, stating: "We appreciate Coach Kingsley's dedication to our student-athletes and the values he brought to the program. He cared deeply for his players, supported them on and off the field, and represented our department with class. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors." CCBC Catonsville Athletics extends its gratitude to Coach Kingsley for his leadership and contributions to the men's soccer program and wishes him continued success in the next chapter of his career.   

CCBC Catonsville will open a search for the Head Men's Soccer Coach position immediately.
