Dragons defeat Cardinals 3-0

Catonsville, MD – The CCBC Cardinals battled the Dragons of Howard Community College and lost the fight 3 – 0 on September 25, 2025.

For the fist half the Cardinals and the Dragons were at a stale mate with neither team scoring. The Cardinals goalie Atendem Fuamazah keeping up the morale with a total of 13 saves throughout the duration of the game. With the Dragons catching 2 yellow cards in the first half, they knew the needed to keep their cool. They did just that with Predrag Ilic, Alfonso Argueta assisted by Bryan Barrientos, and Yeabsira Tesfaye each scoring a goal making the score 3 – 0 winning the game.

The Cardinals will fly to Harford Community College next Tuesday to take on the Fighting Owls and to hopefully break the losing streak weighing down on them. Game set for 4:00pm September 30, 2025.
