Five Athletes Receive All-MD JUCO and All-Region XX Honors

Catonsville, MD- Five men's soccer players are given all MD JUCO and Region XX honors.

Williams Yami: First Team All-Region XX (F)

Chris Yokum: First Team All-Region XX (Mid)

Matt Davis: First Team All-Region XX (Mid)

Ricardo Torres: First Team All-Region XX (GK)

Leslie Bynoe: Honorable Mention All-Region XX (F)

Yami (pictured top left) proved to be a force for the Cardinals soccer program this season. He was top-5 in three different MD JUCO categories this year- goals (12), points (29), and shots (36). As a strong forward, he paved the way for many wins this season and helped the team reach the Region XX Championship. Torres (pictured bottom middle) held the net well for the birds. He was fourth in MD JUCO in saves (65). He ended the season with a .747 overall save percentage, and a whopping .814 save percentage in conference play. Bynoe (pictured top middle) was a phenomenal set-up man for the birds, as he was second in assist in the conference with 8. Davis (top right) and Yokum (bottom left) were great defenders for the Cardinals and would manage to keep the ball off the bird's side of the field. Not only were they great defensively, but they both had a strong leadership presence for the Cardinals.
