The Cardinals played a tough game against Lackawanna College, but unfortunately, they could not come up with the win. Lackawanna scored the first and only goal of the game, however it took them 35 minutes to do it. Although the Cardinals had numerous chances, they were unable to respond by the end of the game which brought the final score to 1-0. The Cardinals almost tied the game in the last 30 seconds but missed right at the buzzer. Oscar Barrientos Rivera had two shots on goal and three in total. The only other shot on goal was from Williams Yami and he had three shots in total as well. Ricardo Torres, the goalie for the Cardinals, had five saves by the end of regulation. Regardless, it was a hard-fought game. This was game was very physical and resulted in both teams totaling six yellow cards. Lackawanna only outshot the Cardinals by one. Overall, although our defense did well, our offense has to work on getting more accurate shots on goal.
