Cardinals Finish Season on 3 Game Win Streak

Catonsville MD, Feb 25, 2026- CCBC Men's Basketball ended their 2025-26 campaign with an inspired 62-59 victory over the Howard Community College Dragons.

The Cardinals were dialed in on the defensive side in this contest feeding off a great atmosphere for their final regular season contest against a local region opponent. The first half saw CCBC hold Howard to just 16 points, forcing 10 of their 13 turnovers in the first 20 minutes of the contest. Three Cardinals led the way in double figure scoring, with Yassir Supreme leading the way with a dominant 28-point,12 rebound performance. Jaden French (17 points) and Messiah Anderson (15 points) were the other two Cardinals in double figures, while Eric Forman was fourth and last Cardinal to score with a big and-1 bucket late in the 2nd half. Howard would have a much-improved 2nd half to make this a great contest down the stretch, cutting the Cardinal lead to two with about 3 minutes to go. However, the Dragons were never able to grab the lead, as the Cardinals were able to hold on with clutch end of game play with huge free throws by Yassir Supreme and keeping Howard off the line to get the wire to wire three-point win and keeping the Dragons from the 1 seed in the NJCAA Region 20 Tournament.

CCBC ends the 2025-26 season playing their best basketball on a three-game winning streak, however, won't enter postseason play finishing 12-16, 6-9. Coach TJ and the Cardinals will look to carry that end of season momentum into the offseason as the Cardinals are sure to bounce back for a strong 2026-27 campaign.
