Catonsville, MD- It was sophomore night at the Jack Manley Wellness and Athletic Center for the Cardinals, and they made sure to put on a show. The Cardinals won 79-54 led by Kamren Hayes, who scored 28 points and had 6 assists.
Jaden French made sure to make the most of his sophomore night by fighting through a tuff back injury after getting elbowed in the late part of the second half, scoring 21 points and grabbing 6 rebounds. Alpha Thiam had 5 points, 4 boards, and 1 steal. Amarian "Nugget" Joseph did what he did best and came in and dropped threes. Sophomore Messiah Anderson caught a crazy alley-oop pass from Kamren Hayes for an electrifying dunk that got the whole arena on their feet.
The Cardinals prepare to play against the Community College of Beaver County on Friday, February 20 at 7 pm.
