McHenry MD-Jan 21, 2026- CCBC Catonsville Men's Basketball dropped a close road contest 71-66 to the Garrett College Lakers to finish their 4-game road trip.
The Cardinals could not build on their momentum from their last road win over Cecil. Yassir Supreme led the Cardinals in scoring (19 points), while Messiah Anderson (13 points) and Kamren Hayes (11 points) were also in double figures. The Cardinals struggled from behind the arc and to keep the Lakers off the boards getting outrebounded 44-24. Nehemiah Johnson led the way for the Lakers with 18 points and 18 rebounds, while Keyonta Johnson added 16 points and 8 rebounds.
CCBC will look to turn it around as they return home to host Anne Arundel CC Friday January 23rd.
