Cardinals Fall 79-65 in First Road Contest

Cheyney PA- The Cardinals in their first road contest of the season traveled to Cheyney University where they fell to a talented Wolves team who picked up their second victory of the season in their home opener. Cheyney essentially led wire to wire, winning both halves and opening a double-digit lead in the second half.

Messiah Anderson led the Cardinals in scoring with 20 points adding in 10 boards. Yassir Supreme added in a double-double of his own with 10 points and 11 rebounds. The Cardinals couldn't get it going behind the arc shooting 3-15 total from three and gave the ball away more times than they took it with 15 turnovers to 12 steals.

The Cardinals still have plenty of season to play and will look to get back into the win column on Saturday November 15th as they take on SUNY Niagara at 4pm.
