Cardinals and Seahawks Offenses' Explode for 27 Combined Runs

North East, MD-  CCBC and Cecil College would combine for 27 runs on 37 hits in their 16-11 contest where Cecil would pull out the win.

Wyatt Bickers for the second straight contest would open the game with a lead off home run giving the Cardinals an early lead that they would stretch to three, with a Hunter Anderson 2 run home run in the top of the 2nd. Cecil would match with six runs of their own in the bottom of the 2nd. A Yamil Santiago 2 RBI single in 3rd would cut the Cecil lead to 1, but the Seahawks would blow the game open with 9 unanswered runs, from the 3rd to the 5th inning. The Cardinals would avoid the mercy rule, scoring the next five with a Herick Vital 2 run homer, AJ Perry single, and a Hunter Anderson two RBI single. The Cardinal rally wouldn't be enough as Cecil would close out the contest with a final score of 16-11. The Cardinals however would gather 20 hits, outhitting the Seahawks. Wyatt Bickers(4), Skylar Jersey(3), AJ Perry(3) would lead the way with multi hit performances, and Hunter Anderson would lead the Cardinals in RBI with 4 on the day.

The Cardinals next contest will be a Tuesday April 28th home doubleheader against Westmoreland CC.
