Cardinals Offense Explode for 19 in Game Two

Catonsville, MD - April 18, 2026- The Cardinal offense exploded for their highest run output of the season in game two of a doubleheader split with Allegany College.

CCBC and Allegany played a tight game one for six of the seven innings as the game got blown open late by the Trojans. Mason Pfeifer would go all seven innings on the mound for the Cardinals in a great effort. CCBC would open the scoring with a 3rd inning single by Wyatt Bickers, scoring Adrian Hernandez. Allegany would respond in the top of the fourth inning with an RBI single. Allegany would break the tie in the fifth with the first of three home runs. With the game 2-1 going into the seventh, Allegany's Duke Psoras would hit a three run home run, followed by a Theo Kanegae solo homer to make the score 6-1 and keep the game out of reach, resulting in a Cardinal game one loss.

Game two would see the Cardinal bats do a 180 turn, as they gather 19 runs on 16 hits for their highest scoring game of the season.  AJ Perry and Jahzion Mccoy would combine for 11 RBIs in the contest, as they both would hit three run home runs and Mccoy would hit another solo shot for two homers on the day. Wyatt Bickers would join Perry and Mccoy with three hits on the day, while Nick Midili and Hunter Anderson would also have multiple hits.  The first six Cardinal hitters would cross the plate at least twice on their way to the mercy rule victory.

The Cardinals will look to bring those hot bats into their next contest as they finish their season series with Prince George's Community College Monday April 20 at 3:30PM.
