Catonsville, MD – March 29, 2026 – The Cardinals were swept in a home doubleheader against Delaware Technical Community College.
Coming off a strong win over rival CCBC Dundalk, the Cardinals looked to carry that momentum into the twin bill, but were unable to do so, dropping both games. Defensive miscues and missed scoring opportunities on the basepaths proved costly throughout the day.
In Game 1, the Cardinals fell short despite a late-inning push, losing 11–8. Several hitters were tough outs at the plate. Skyler Jersey had a perfect performance, going 4-for-4 with four RBIs. Nick Midili also contributed, going 3-for-3 with a run scored and a walk.
In Game 2, fundamental mistakes once again hurt the Cardinals, who fell 17–3 via the run rule. The team committed three errors and managed just four hits, each coming from different players. Kaiden Williams stood out offensively, going 1-for-1 with two walks and scoring two of the Cardinals' three runs.
The Cardinals look to turn things around in the upcoming doubleheader against Hagerstown Community College.
