CCBC Catonsville dropped their fourth consecutive game to start the 2024 season, falling to Rollins JV College 6-0.
The Cardinals trailed 4-0 for much of the contest, though still had a chance entering the sixth. A two-run inning for Rollins would put the game away, dropping the Cardinals to 0-4 on the season.
Thursday's contest marked the first game of the year that the Cardinals failed to score runs in. Despite this, sophomore first baseman Nick Stergiou (Broadneck) managed to go 3 for 3 with three hits.
The Cardinals wrap up their Florida roadtrip this afternoon with game two against Rollins.
