Cardinals come out on top against the Seahawks in this very high scoring game
In the first inning the only team that scored was the Seahawks off a solo homer. In the second inning is when the game broke open, the Cardinals scored 13 runs. They hit 3 homeruns, hit 2 doubles, and 3 singles. The Seahawks answered back by scoring 6 to bring the deficit down to 13-7. They scored most of their runs on wild pitches, errors, and a fielder's choice. In the third inning the Cardinals scored one run off a double. The scored 12 runs the next inning by homering 4 times, 3 singles, and a few errors/fielder's choices. In the 5th inning Dwayne Thomas hits his third homerun of the game and Aronne Dutton scored on a wild pitch. The Seahawks scored 7 runs by hitting 5 singles and scoring on a walk and error. In the sixth inning the Cardinals scored 1 run off a wild pitch. In the seventh inning, Tyler Shadle and Mark Brady hit a homerun to extend the lead to 34-14. The Seahawks scored 8 runs in the bottom of the seventh but it wasn't enough as they still lost 34-22.
