Bio

Shawn is a dedicated and experienced certified athletic trainer with a strong background in collegiate sports medicine. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Eastern University and his Master’s degree in Kinesiology  with a focus in sports administration from McDaniel College.

With over a decade of experience in the field, Shawn spent five years as an assistant athletic trainer at York College, followed by two years as an associate athletic trainer at Towson University. In March 2025, he joined MedStar Health as the Head Athletic Trainer for the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC), where he leads comprehensive care for student-athletes across multiple sports.

Shawn is passionate about injury prevention, rehabilitation, and supporting student-athletes both on and off the field. He brings a collaborative, evidence-based approach to athletic healthcare, ensuring optimal performance and long-term wellness for the athletes he serves.
