Kidwell was hired by CCBC Catonsville in August 2018 as a part-time athletic specialist and sports information assistant.

As a native of Anne Arundel County, Kidwell has lived her life involved with softball. She went to high school at Old Mill Senior High, where she was a four-year member of the varsity softball team. During her senior year, she earned first-team all-county honors.

After graduating from Old Mill in 2015, Kidwell had signed with Coach Slater at CCBC Catonsville to begin her collegiate career. As a member of a nationally-ranked program, Kidwell was the starting catcher and earned all-Maryland Juco honors.

During this time, Kidwell began two different coaching occupations. She began working fall camps for Impact baseball, where she served as both an assistant and head coach to young baseball players looking to sharpen their skills. She also became a hitting instructor for the Lutherville-Timonium Lasers 14u and 16u organizations.

Following her career at CCBC Catonsville, Kidwell transferred to Towson University where she would earn her bachelor’s degree in Sport Management with a business minor. During her first year at Towson, Kidwell served as team manager for their softball program.

As she finished her education, Kidwell took a job at CCBC Catonsville as an athletic specialist, where she works in the athletic department and with all of their sports. She started helping her former coach, Chuck Slater, with the winter softball camps. Kidwell now also serves as the college's intramural coordinator. As of May 2019, she is also employed with Howard Community College.

After a year of working at the college, Kidwell was asked to be an assistant coach for the softball program, primarily as a catcher’s coach- following a successful season where the Cardinals narrowly missed qualifying for the national tournament.

In her spare time, Kidwell enjoys working out, fishing, and attending baseball games at Camden Yards. She resides in Glen Burnie, MD.
